During the fall and spring semester our team took on the Breastfeeding for the workplace community project.  We accomplished the goals we set by helping three business' become compliant with the national legislation to provide a lactation room for nursing mothers in the workplace.  The benefits not only to the mother and child but the workplace itself was astounding to learn.
I attended the "train the trainer" presentation in St. Petersburg, Florida in the fall and was pleased to meet Debbie Albert, Ph.D., RN, IBCLC, RLC,  Chairperson, Florida Business Case for Breastfeeding
President-Elect, Florida Breastfeeding Coalition.
