 Full patient care in the day to day operations of the recovery unit caring for pre and post cardiac                        catheterizations, renal and peripheral angiograms and angioplastys.  

 Assisting the physician with Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions with conscious sedation.

 Created and instituted out patient education packets specific to our hospital  

 Education for nurses
*Created the “Cardiac Procedure Help Manual” for each unit in our hospital that included an explanation of each procedure in detail, along with exact instructions for paperwork needed and frequently asked questions and answers to help the nurses understand “why”.

 Created various forms that we use in our department to enable thorough and consistent patient care.  These forms also enable tracking of any post procedure complication.  This form has been shared with other Florida Hospital campuses and was praised for the proficiency.

 Moved entire unit 5 times in 3 years because of hospital expansion, including a move to our main campus 8 miles away.  Each time establishing a pleasant, efficient, safe and patient centered experience.

 Charge nurse duties – representing our department to management, staffing, team building and delegation of duties, special projects, monthly statistics for our unit.

Emphasizing patient education and comfort by developing educational material and creating a pleasant smooth flowing recovery area with excellent teamwork.
